Jamshedpur, August 3: A meeting, chaired by East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner, Manjunath Bhajantri at the District Collectorate, reviewed the details of programmes to be organized during celebration of the 77th Independence Day in the district. The DC gave necessary instructions to all district and departmental officials present including Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar, Deputy Forest Conservator, and Area Director of ‘Gaj’ Project, Abhishek Kumar, DFO Mamata Priyadarshi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jaideep Tigga, and others.
The main events scheduled for August 15th were discussed during the meeting, and responsibilities for organizing the events were assigned to the officials concerned.
An organizing committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Deputy Development Commissioner. The flag hoisting ceremony at Gopal Maidan would commence at 9:05 am. A cultural evening will be organized at Sidhgora Town Hall, where students from various government schools will showcase their talents.
