Jamshedpur, April 25: Taking cognizance on a complaint by Bagbera Basti Pradhan Tola resident Raman Jha who has accused Medica Hospital medic Dr SK Prasad for the death of his wife Puja Jha on March 7 last due to wrong surgery, Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum Amit Kumar has directed the Civil Surgeon to form a medical team to conduct a detailed probe into various angles of the death and submit a report on the findings within a week.
In his complaint Raman Jha stated that his pregnant wife Puja Jha was admitted to Medica � Kanti Lal Gandhi Memorial Hospital and was under the treatment of Dr SK Prasad. Puja died on March 7 last during treatment. Raman Jha mentioned in his complaint that when Dr Prasad was asked by relatives regarding the cause of death of Puja no concrete reply was given.
Raman Jha met the Deputy Commissioner with his complaint letter and pleaded for justice.
