Jadhav also pointed out some banks that have not been adequately cooperative in implementation of these government projects.  The top official of BOI has assured suitable action to rectify these issues.

Among other issues discussed during the meeting, the DC said that members of primitive tribes like Sabar and Birhor in many blocks of the district do not have bank accounts that keep them away from getting benefits from various government schemes. She pointed out that of the 5259 primitive tribe families and their 20178 members residing in East Singhbhum district only 6035 are benefitting from the government pension scheme.

Jadhav directed the zonal manager of BOI to ensure better coordination with the Block Development Officers to set up camps to facilitate opening of bank accounts for members of these primitive tribes. She also asked the bank official to ensure that bank accounts are opened in the names of the school students in Birhor families so that they can benefit from government scholarship schemes. Jadhav added that special efforts should be made to help the marginalised and impoverished primitive tribes.

Jadhav also asked the BOI zonal manager to ensure that the bank officials pay special attention to e-KYC to enable farmers to benefit from the Crop Loan Waiver Scheme and also to intimate the district administration if any DBT transaction fails.

While talking about hurdles being faced while opening bank accounts for school students in the district, she said that 6,000 students in the district still do not have bank accounts in their names. Jadhav also said that she has received complaints about some bank officials of the Gohaldangra branch in Chakulia not cooperating with local residents and students in opening bank accounts. She advised the BOI management to ensure that operations are simplified and without hurdles for the public, especially for villagers, so that they can get connected with banking services. The zonal manager assured the DC of ironing out these issues.
