Jamshedpur, Aug 6: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav visited Sadar Hospital, Khasmahal, on Saturday and reviewed the healthcare amenities. She visited various departments and wards and interacted with the doctors and patients on a number of issues.
The DC visited the Emergency, OPDs, TB ward, ICU, labour room, ECG room surgery room, special ward for newborns, pharmacy department, blood collection room, canteen and doctors’ chamber. She inquired about the absence of ENT and skin specialists and directed the Civil Surgeon Dr Sahir Pal to show cause them. She expressed satisfaction over cleanliness in the hospital premises and gave instructions to doctors regarding care of patients.

During inspection of female ward, the DC came across an under-treatment malnourished child and his mother. She ordered their proper care and treatment.
Speaking to scribes, the DC said there was no dearth of funds for the Ayushman scheme. She said a proposal was sent for the deputation of specialists in the government hospital. She said improvements would be gradually seen in the hospital in the coming days.
The DC was accompanied by ADC Sourabh Sinha and DTO Dinesh Ranjan among others.
