Jamshedpur DC inspects government branches, orders strict record-keeping and protocol compliance

Jamshedpur, April 16: District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner  Ananya Mittal conducted a detailed inspection of the Nazarat and Establishment Branches, reviewing crucial government records, registers, and administrative processes. The inspection aimed at ensuring proper documentation, transparency, and adherence to administrative protocols across both key branches.

During the inspection,  Mittal personally checked the incoming-outgoing registers, cash registers, CNC register, file movement logs, stock and index registers, among other official documents. He identified certain discrepancies and shortcomings in record maintenance and issued strict instructions to update and organize all records in accordance with government rules and procedures.

He emphasized the need for systematic maintenance of materials purchased with government funds and directed that all such entries be properly documented in the store registers and relevant files. Special attention was given to compliance with financial norms, and  Mittal instructed the withdrawal and expenditure officers to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the Finance Department and the State Government.

Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner directed that all important government resolutions and circulars be properly filed and preserved in a guard file for future reference and audits.

Mittal also assessed the manpower availability in both branches and examined the daily attendance records. He stressed the importance of biometric attendance, punctuality, and optimal utilization of office hours. Instructions were issued to all staff members to report to duty on time and maintain discipline in attendance and workflow.

While reviewing the office environment, the Deputy Commissioner instructed that cleanliness and hygiene in the office premises be maintained regularly. He urged all officials to ensure that their tasks are completed diligently and efficiently within working hours.

Additional Deputy Commissioner  Bhagirath Prasad, Nazarat Deputy Collector  David Balihar, Executive Magistrate  Chandrajit Singh, and other concerned officials were present during the inspection.
