At a meeting to review situation of water crisis in Gurdwara Basti, Sankosai and Sukhna Basti etc. under Mango Municipal Corporation,  it came to light in the meeting that during water supply, many people use motors illegally, due to which there is difficulty in water supply in low-lying areas. Taking serious cognizance of this by the Deputy Commissioner, a raiding team was formed to seize motor pumps immediately and strict instructions were given to identify such people and seize at least 50 motors daily.

The documents required for taking water connection include, BPL certificate,  Aadhaar, residential certificate and holding paper.
