Jamshedpur DC convenes meeting on Lok Sabha elections 

Jamshedpur: In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal chaired a meeting with bank coordinators, outlining guidelines to ensure fair elections. Banks were instructed to verify external source agencies’ cash-carrying vehicles, adhere to specific documentation, and report cash transactions exceeding Rs 10 lakh to the Expenditure Accounts Department.

Candidates were urged to open new accounts for election purposes, with priority transactions during the election process. Additionally, detailed information on ESMS and cVIGIL app usage was provided. The meeting was attended by key officials, including the Senior Superintendent of Police, Deputy Development Commissioner, City SP, Rural SP, Project Director ITDA, and SDM Dhalbhum.
