Jamshedpur: In the wake of rising coronavirus cases, DC Ravi Shankar Shukla, conducted a surprise inspection of the District Control Room to take stock of problems being faced by people and overview preventive measures being taken. He gave necessary instructions to the officials present.
It is noteworthy that the control room is working round the clock. People can register their problems in which information about health, law and order in the district control room are registered. Thereafter the problems of the people are redressed by the concerned officials and the team working under his leadership. About 100 calls are being received daily in the district control room.
The officers working in the district control room classify the problems and forward them to the concerned officer. After execution of the problems, their information is also collected. All check posts created in the district are also monitored through the district control room. The Deputy Commissioner said that persons from other states or abroad who are in the Home Quarter are also being monitored through the control room.
