Jamshedpur DC conducts surprise inspection at Collectorate Offices

Jamshedpur: In a move towards enhancing efficiency and discipline in government offices, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner  Ananya Mittal conducted an unannounced inspection at the Collectorate complex. The surprise visit aimed to assess the functioning of various offices within the complex and ensure adherence to essential protocols.

During the surprise inspection,  Ananya Mittal engaged with officers and employees, seeking information about their work, the sanctioned posts, distribution of responsibilities, and any challenges faced in work execution. The focus was on evaluating the overall efficiency and effectiveness of office operations.

Ananya Mittal stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in office premises, considering it a collective moral responsibility. He issued directives to all officers and personnel to adhere to scheduled office hours and make biometric attendance mandatory. The emphasis on punctuality was complemented by a call for maintaining a tidy workspace.

The District Magistrate encouraged all employees to discharge their responsibilities diligently, fostering a sense of commitment to public service. He particularly emphasized the significance of punctuality and urged employees to motivate their colleagues to follow suit.

During the surprise visit,  Ananya Mittal inspected various offices, including those responsible for law and order, general administration, and Nazarat. The inspection covered aspects such as office cleanliness, proper file maintenance, and adherence to designated filing procedures.

Deputy Development Commissioner  Manish Kumar, ADM Law and Order  Rajeev Ranjan, Additional Deputy Commissioner  Rohit Sinha, and other officials were present during the surprise inspection, demonstrating the collective commitment of the administration towards fostering a disciplined and efficient work environment.
