Jamshedpur officials to ensure security for Durga Puja celebrations

Jamshedpur, October 9: Durga Puja celebrations are in full swing in Jamshedpur, with crowds steadily increasing at various pandals. Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal have entered alert mode, deploying police forces to ensure safety and order during the festivities.

Both officials took to the streets on motorcycles to assess the security arrangements personally.

Accompanied by the ADM Law and Order, City SP, and other officers, they conducted flag marches in various areas, including Sakchi, Kadma, and Sonari.

They focused particularly on the traffic management system to ensure smooth movement during the high influx of devotees on Mahasaptami.

During their inspections, Mittal and Kaushal provided instructions to subordinate officers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining order and preventing any negligence.

With the anticipated surge of visitors to the pandals, the district’s senior officials remained proactive in ensuring a safe and peaceful celebration for all.
