Jamshedpur, Nov 5: With the view to ensure hassle-free Assembly elections, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Returning Officer Ravi Shankar Shukla and senior superintendent of police (SSP) Anoop Birtharay jointly inspected Jamshedpur Cooperative College building on Tuesday.
They visited the strong room, counting room and despatch room and also gave instructions to the executive engineer of building construction department.
All six Assembly constituencies of East Singhbhum will go to polls in the second phase on 7th December. A notification in this regard would be issued on 11th November. Thereafter, the process of nomination will begin. The last date of filing nominations is 18th November.
Many district officials were present during the inspection.
