Jamshedpur DC addresses public grievances, assures timely action

Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal held a public court at the Collectorate office to address the grievances of local residents. During the session, he personally interacted with over 60 complainants who raised concerns related to various social and personal issues.

The grievances brought to the Deputy Commissioner’s attention included challenges in obtaining financial aid for medical treatment, making Ayushman cards, resolving land disputes, acquiring caste certificates, addressing outstanding bill payments, pension disbursement delays, road disputes, complaints about the operation of foreign liquor shops, school enrollment, and other essential services.

Several complaints were resolved on the spot during the hearing. For the remaining issues, Mittal assured timely and appropriate action. Applications were forwarded to the relevant departmental officers with instructions to act swiftly.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to establish coordination with block offices and other concerned departments to ensure a thorough investigation and resolution of grievances. He emphasized the importance of timely action to address the needs of the public effectively.

The initiative of organizing such public courts reflects the administration’s commitment to providing accessible governance and resolving issues at the grassroots level. Residents appreciated the proactive approach and responsiveness of the District Magistrate in addressing their concerns.
