Jamshedpur: On the occasion of Jan Grievance Redressal Day, Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi heard the problems and complaints of citizens at the Collectorate office. A large number of people from different blocks and urban areas arrived with applications and suggestions on matters ranging from family and land disputes to pending pensions and road construction demands.
The applications covered a wide range of issues, including stay orders, benefits under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maniyaan Samman Yojana, non-compliance with SDO orders by tenants, FIR registration delays, shop allotment, medical assistance, encroachment of government land, culvert construction, bank loan assistance, parking disputes in housing societies, demands for watchman appointment lists, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi benefits, and organization of camps for the elderly and differently-abled.

Forwarding the applications to concerned departmental officers, the Deputy Commissioner instructed that every case be handled with sensitivity, transparency, and within stipulated timelines. He emphasised that Jan Grievance Redressal Day is not only for hearing complaints but also for ensuring quick, accessible, and fair resolutions.
Several matters were resolved on the spot, providing immediate relief to applicants. For pending cases, the Deputy Commissioner directed officials to conduct regular reviews to ensure timely disposal.
