Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi interacted with a large number of citizens from rural and urban areas during Jan Grievance Redressal Day at the Collectorate on Tuesday and heard their grievances in detail. The applications submitted by the people covered a wide range of issues including ration card irregularities, encroachment on government land, admissions under BPL quota in private schools, issuance of PDS shop licenses on compassionate grounds, demand for construction of Anganwadi centers, pending mutations, shop allotment, difficulties in withdrawing pension and ration due to frozen accounts, caste certificate issuance, land disputes, pension-related matters, complaints of land mafia activities, benefits under Mukhyamantri Maniyaan Samman Yojana, pending payments, society parking disputes, neighborhood conflicts over house construction, sports arms license, housing, loans, road repair, Mukhyamantri Rojgar Srijan Yojana benefits, and cases of illegal land occupation. Several demand letters and memorandums related to public interest were also submitted.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner assured citizens that every application would be addressed as per rules within the stipulated time frame, while many grievances were resolved on the spot. He directed the concerned departmental officials to take serious note of the issues raised and ensure speedy and transparent redressal. Satyarthi reiterated that quick resolution of people’s problems remains the top priority of the district administration.
