Tourism Minister flags off new safari vehicles, lays foundation for modern rest house to boost eco-tourism in Dalma

Jamshedpur, Feb 7: Dalma’s eco-tourism landscape received a significant boost on Saturday as Jharkhand Tourism Minister Sudivya Sonu inaugurated a series of development initiatives aimed at enhancing visitor experience and strengthening the region’s tourism profile.

The highlight of the event was the flagging off of five state-of-the-art safari vehicles in the Dalma forest area, marking a new chapter for wildlife tourism in the region.
Equipped with modern technology and advanced safety features, the newly inducted safari vehicles promise tourists a safer, more comfortable, and immersive experience.
The initiative is expected to make wildlife viewing more engaging while reinforcing Dalma’s identity as a key eco-tourism destination in Jharkhand.

In addition to the safari launch, the Tourism Minister also laid the foundation stone for a new rest house at Pindrabera. Designed to meet contemporary hospitality standards, the upcoming facility will feature 15 well-furnished rooms, offering comfortable accommodation to visitors from outside the region.

A restaurant is also part of the project, ensuring quality dining facilities for tourists.
Addressing the gathering, Sudivya Sonu said the projects would not only accelerate tourism activities in the Dalma region but also generate new employment opportunities for local residents.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to developing natural tourist destinations with modern infrastructure, with the aim of positioning them prominently on both national and international tourism maps.

With improved safari services and upgraded accommodation facilities, Dalma is set to emerge as a more attractive and sustainable tourism hub in the days ahead.
