Jamshedpur, May 31: Team Dalma Daredevils defeated Regal Rangers by 7 wickets in the final to win the Chartered Accountant Premier League (CAPL) organised by The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, Jamshedpur Chapter at Gopal Maidan on Tuesday, May 31.
Batting first team Regal Rangers scored 87/5 runs in 10 overs. Tarakeswar Prasad took scored 33 runs in 19 balls and Suraj Kumar scored 24 runs in 21 balls
For Dalma Daredevils Dayashankar took 3 wickets giving away 18 runs in 3 overs while KV Srinivasan took 1 wicket giving away 8 runs in 2 overs.
Team Dalma Daredevils comprising CA Sanjay Goel and CA Ramakant Gupta scored 91 runs with 5 balls to spare.
Dayashankar received Man of the Match award for his outstanding contribution in the final.
Dalma Daredevil’s captain Pankaj Sanghari said it is a team effort that led us to victory.
The award ceremony was held at Chamber Bhawan on Tuesday evening. Chief Guest for the occasion was Vijay Anand Moonka, President, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Man of the Series award was bagged by Tarkeswar Gupta of Regal Rangers. Best Batsman award went to Utkarsh Agarwal for scoring 114 runs and Best Bowler was Suraj Kumar for taking 9 wickets. Rahul Kedia of Regal Rangers received the Best Fielder award. Dalma Daredevils captain Pankaj Sanghari received the Best Wicket Keeper award.
