Jamshedpur, July 24: Criminal Ganesh Singh, recently apprehended by the Jamshedpur Police, has been transferred from Ghaghidih Jail in Jamshedpur to Giridih Jail under tight security on Thursday. The transfer was executed to prevent potential confrontations, as some of Ganesh Singh’s associates were already incarcerated in Giridih Jail.

Gangster Akhilesh Singh, with whom Ganesh Singh had distanced himself, is currently lodged in Dumka Jail. This separation was primarily due to Ganesh Singh’s efforts to establish a parallel gang. Consequently, he was not transferred to Dumka. Meanwhile, Ganesh Singh’s rival, Neeraj Dubey, had been moved to Dumka Jail to mitigate any potential clashes.

Plans were underway to transfer additional prisoners following Neeraj Dubey’s relocation. However, Aman Singh and Ravi Jaiswal, who were arrested along with Ganesh Singh, would remain in Ghaghidih Jail as they did not pose a threat to anyone. The Ghaghidih Jail administration expressed relief following Ganesh Singh’s transfer.

Ganesh Singh, Aman Singh, and Ravi Jaiswal were arrested by Jamshedpur Police near Putru toll plaza near Baharagora. Initially, Ganesh Singh was kept in a separate cell in Ghaghidih Jail to prevent any confrontation.
