Jamshedpur Crime: Shooting victim dies in TMH, police interrogate three

Jamshedpur, September 7: Uday Choudhary, a resident of Golmuri DS flat, died on the fourth day on Wednesday during treatment at TMH.

Uday was shot in the head by miscreants at around 10.45 pm on Sunday and was undergoing treatment at TMH after the incident.

On the statement of Uday’s daughter, the police have registered a named FIR against two people. For three days, the police have kept such people in custody whose name is not in the FIR. Domination and drug business is coming to the fore as the reason for the crime.

 Police is interrogating three people in the matter by taking them into custody but have not divulged their names to the media.

The family members had told a different story to the police on the night of the incident, but on the second day of the incident, a named FIR was lodged against someone else.

Police along with tracing criminal history of the deceased is also finding out about his accomplices.

Significantly, Uday Chaudhary was watching a match on TV while sitting in someone’s house near Namda Basti Kali Mandir on the night of 4th September.

Meanwhile, the wife had also called several times. Meanwhile he had said that he would return home in a while. Eventually he did not return home and at 10.45 pm he was seen by the police in agony near Kali Mandir and admitted to TMH for treatment.
