Jamshedpur, Nov 25: A case of cheating of Rs 50 lakh rupees from the father of a student of Kadma, Jamshedpur has come to the fore in the name of enrolling in medical college. In this case, an FIR has been registered at Bistupur Cyber ​​Police Station on the complaint of Amarnath Khan, resident of Kadma police station area, Shastrinagar. At present, the police are probing the matter.

Police said that every effort will be made to reach the thugs and bring justice to the victims. In complaint to police, Amarnath Khan said that his daughter had appeared in NEET exam on September 12. Earlier, after filling the form, on August 20, he received a call on his mobile number from the helpline number of NEET, which is in the internet. The caller said that he is speaking from the exam controller of NEET.

In the four choices for the preferred center given by the daughter, your examination center is given as Jamshedpur. The admit card of the daughter came, the examination center was found Jamshedpur. After the examination of the daughter, on September 14, she got a call on her mobile from another mobile number, in which the caller told that the center was found as per what was said.

Rs 50 lakh was transferred in the account number given by the caller under the guise. As soon as the money was transferred, he sent his daughter’s number 652. It was believed that the daughter would now get admission in the desired medical college.

On getting the result, it was found that the daughter got less instead of 652, the number from which the call had come. When I tried to contact him, the mobile was found switched off.
