Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Sakchi police arrested one Irfaan of Azadnagar, Mango, in connection with the recent firing on murder case accused Rajesh Singh at Sakchi on 18th October last.
Cops claimed that Irfaan had confessed his complicity in the crime and said that the firing was planned by Shashi Bhushan, one of his associates. Shashi Bhushan had given contract to kill Rajesh to Chand. Shashi Bhushan and his associates were keeping a close watch on Rajesh Singh before carrying out the plan which went awry.
Armed criminals had fired indiscriminately on Rajesh at the parking lot in Sakchi in the afternoon. Rajesh sustained shrapnel injuries. One more person, identified as Mohammad Mumtaz of Kapali, sustained bullet injury in his leg. Cops said they were now searching for Shashi Bhushan and other accused persons.
