Jamshedpur, Aug 6:Sonari police here arrested five more accused in connection with the killing of Ajay Sao. They also seized two loaded pistols and two bikes from their possession.
Those arrested were identified as Sunny Singh, Rohit Mishra, Sanjeev Mishra, Taklu Lohar and Tuntun Yadav.
So far police have arrested nine accused altogether in this case. The prime accused Manish Singh is still at large.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), East Singhbhum, Prabhat Kumar, while addressing a press conference, said, “The police team entrusted with the task of arresting the accused persons has done a good job. Raids are on to nab the prime accused.”
Assailants had gunned down Ajay Sahu on 29th July near C Road, Sonari, when he was returning home after dropping his children at school. Ajay sustained three bullet wounds in head and two in his waist. His wife had lodged an FIR against the accused persons.
