Jamshedpur, Oct 20: Thieves took away cash and jewelry worth Rs 1.15 lakh from a locked house at Road No 12, Farm Area, under Kadma police station area late yesterday night.
Sources said the house owner Kajal Kiran Patel was not at home between 7.45 pm and midnight. The family had gone out to attend a function. When the family returne,d they found the locks broken and the house in a mess. The almirah was open and the cash and jewelry kept inside were missing, Patel told cops.
Police have registered a case against unidentified persons in this connection.
