Jamshedpur Crime: 7 arrested, 7 bikes, 20 mobiles recovered

Jamshedpur, September 8: Police nabbed seven persons and recovered seven stolen bikes and 20 mobiles from their possession.

During the vehicle checking campaign by the police near Shitla Mandir of Sakchi police station area, they did not show the papers when they demanded documents from two youths riding on the bike, but they were trying to escape after being caught in the clutches of the police.

During this, when the police questioned both of them in custody, they revealed about seven  stolen bikes which were recovered along with 20 mobile phones. In this regard, SSP Prabhat Kumar told the media in his office on Thursday that during the course of interrogation, the accused admitted that the bike was stolen from near City Style on September 1.

Meanwhile, the police recovered the stolen bike from near Sakchi Ramlila Maidan from Dhanbad and arrested Ishan Kumar Mishra. Apart from this, the police arrested Sanjay Patnaik, resident of Bhuyandih, Vijay Thapa of Sidgora Kanubhatta, Mohd of Mango Azadbasti. Tabrez alias Handi, Raghunath Murmu alias Prakash Munda alias Vijay Munda of Mango Gandhi Colony Road No. 1, Vijay Machua alias Beda of Mango Machua Basti, Suraj Kumar of Mango Teli Line, Ishaan of Deoghar Belasi Town.

All the arrested accused have already gone to jail in the case of Sitaramdera, Sakchi, Sidgora, Mango, Bistupur, Mango and Dhanbad police stations.
