Jamshedpur Crime: 3 nabbed in Kolkata Biryani house loot case

Jamshedpur, Nov 22: Police have arrested three accused in connection with the robbery at Kolkata Biryani in Sakchi Tank Road on Monday. 


. It was told that these criminals had entered the shop located near Sheetla Temple in Sakchi on the pretext of buying egg rolls. During this, two criminals went inside the shop, while the third criminal remained outside. The criminals who went inside looted money and mobile at the point of gun from the shopkeeper. 


After this, all three fled from the spot sitting on a motorcycle. The incident happened on the night of November 16 last. In this case, Mango and Azadnagar residents Datla Chand, Mohammed Shakibul Ansari and Mohammed Sajid have been arrested.. The motorcycle used in the incident, the mobile of the accused along with the looted 11 thousand rupees have been recovered from them. 


The shopkeeper had told in his FIR that there was a robbery of 45 thousand rupees. The pistol used in the incident has not yet been recovered.


Jamshedpur City SP Subhash Chandra Jat told that Sajid Mohammad Sajid alias Ajan had planned the entire incident in Jamshedpur itself. He has been to jail in many cases in the past as well. The SP said that a five-member inquiry committee was constituted to probe the incident.  The team arrested all these criminals from Jamshedpur itself.


An FIR for this robbery was lodged on November 17 at the Sakchi police station. It was told on behalf of the complainant Ali Akbar that unknown persons entered his shop and robbed the money and mobile. Six days after the registration of the case, the police exposed the incident.
