Jamshedpur Covid Hospital: 30 support beds come up at KPS Mango

Jamshedpur, May 16: Following efforts made by Health Minister Banna Gupta 30 oxygen supported beds were started at Mango Kerala Public School. Addressing reporters on the occasion, Gupta said that 30 oxygen supported beds have been launched for Corona patients and if needed, more beds will also be extended here.

“I was constantly demanded Covid Hospital be made for public convenience in this area, so it has been launched today,” said Gupta.

Civil Surgeon Dr. AK Lal, Mango Notified Area Committee special officer Deepak Sahai and others were present on the occasion.

The Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar has directed to increase the number of ambulances and paid quarantine centers (hotels). He said that all the institutional quarantine centers or paid quarantine centers should have food, cleanliness and other basic facilities and protective equipment available in them.

District civil surgeon said a present most of the COVID cases are emerging from within the city limit and are resulting in contact with the infected people.  He pointed out the number of COVID cases is increasing fast and even the workers employed in big industries are being tested positive.

The administration has appealed to the people of the district to strictly follow the rules of home quarantine. Even a slight negligence can hit many people in corona. He advised people to strictly adhere to physical distance and essentially use masks and sanitizers.
