Jamshedpur, April 17: In Jamshedpur’s Mango, BJP leader Vikas Singh was accused of obstructing government work in order to demolish a footpath shop built in the middle of Dimna main road. Regarding this, Vikas Singh had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Jamshedpur court. On Monday, the Jamshedpur court, while hearing the case, stayed the arrest of Vikas Singh.
Vikas Singh’s advocate Sanjeev Ranjan Bariyar told the court that the section imposed on Vikas Singh is completely wrong. Vikas Singh only requested the Sub-Divisional Officer present on the spot not to demolish the shop. He did not use any kind of force.
Vikas Singh said that he has full faith in the court, truth always prevails in the court, even today truth has won.
Significantly, the shopkeepers were being suddenly removed from the administration without any information. BJP leader Vikas Singh objected to this after reaching the spot. Vikas Singh had requested the present Sub-Divisional Officer not to break the shop. In this case, an FIR was lodged accusing Vikas Singh of obstructing government work.
