Judge takes stock of security flaws
Jamshedpur, September 2: After the action taken by Jharkhand High Court regarding the attack on secretarial staff of Jamshedpur Court in the court premises, Jamshedpur administration has also come into action.
After the appearance of the Chief Secretary and DGP, state zonal judge Sujit Narayan Prasad reached Jamshedpur court on Saturday and took information about the entire incident.

He sought information about how the judge’s courtroom was attacked and what kind of security breach was done. He took stock of the security of the entire court complex. During this, East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, Jamshedpur SSP Prabhat Kumar and other officials were present.

Incidentally, a criminal had entered the court premises with a sharp edged weapon and attacked the staff who is entrusted with listing of the case.
Although the attacker was arrested, it exposed the security. Due to this incident sensation spread in the judicial world of the entire state, then the Supreme Court has intervened in this matter. Complete information has been sought from Jharkhand High Court.
After this the High Court has intensified the action. It was seen where the mistake has happened in this incident and detailed information was also taken about how all the mistakes have to be removed. During this, it was decided to make better security arrangements.
Advocates boycott work
After the deadly attack on the office clerk of ADJ One by entering the Jamshedpur Court premises on Friday, the advocates have announced a one-day work boycott on Saturday.
On Saturday, the advocates of Jamshedpur Court kept themselves away from judicial work. During this period, no hearing took place in the court.
The District Bar Association adhoc committee has also submitted a demand letter to the District Judge condemning the incident. Through the letter of demand, the adhoc committee has demanded to increase the security in the court. Tapas Mitra, a member of the adhoc committee, told that this is not the first time such an incident has happened in the court. Many incidents have happened before this also. No security personnel is present in the court premises after five o’clock whereas work in the court happens till 8 pm. Today there has been an attack on the court personnel, tomorrow it may happen on the advocates as well.
