Jamshedpur, Nov 7: In view of the much-awaited judgment in the Ayodhya title dispute case expected to be delivered soon, East Singhbhum district administration is leaving no stone unturned to provide foolproof security to all citizens and prevent any untoward incident.
Sources said like many other cities and districts of the country, Jamshedpur has also been put on high alert. Police officials have been asked to organize peace committee meetings with the view to spread awareness among citizens. Peace committees are also being requested to assist the police department in ensuring peaceful conduct of elections.
In sensitive areas, additional police forces will be deployed. Quick Response Teams (QRTs) will also conduct flag march across the city. Police are taking action against old warrantees after imposition of Model Code of Conduct.
