Jamshedpur: A group of anti-social elements allegedly ransacked the house of district Congress president Vijay Khan in Sidhgora on Friday.
According to Khan, 15-20 men barged into his house early in the morning and abused him for posting �objectionable� comments on the social media recently. The accused persons threw stones on Khan�s house and also allegedly misbehaved with women members.
An FIR was lodged against unidentified persons on Khan�s complaint. A delegation of Congress and JMM leaders met Senior Superintendent of Police Anoop Birtharay and demanded arresting of the culprits.
The Congress leader said three of the culprits had been identified with the help of CCTV footage obtained from his house.
Not afraid of the RSS people: Rakesh Sahu
Jamshedpur: State Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu on Friday condemned the incident of attack on district Congress president Vijay Khan. He said the Congress leaders were not afraid of the RSS people. He alleged that RSS people had carried out the attack. He said such incidents would only expose the people following extreme ideology.
