Jamshedpur Congress dharna against Centre at DC office 

Jamshedpur, September 3: A one-day dharna will be organized by the district Congress party in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office against the Central Government on Monday.

State Congress general secretary Daljit Singh Bedi gave this information in a press conference organized on Sunday.

“The Modi government at the center is making the rich richer and the poor poorer. Isn’t it very surprising, that Prime Minister Modi who has raised the issue of common man due to exorbitant increase in the price of all essential commodities including LPG cylinder,” he said.

“Now years later, as the elections approached, he realized the pain of the people. Suddenly the price of LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs.200. Actually the reduction of 200 rupees in the price of gas is an election stunt. The price of LPG has increased continuously since 2014 and has more than doubled in the last seven years and since 2020, the BJP government has also stopped giving subsidy,’ said Bedi.

“In nine years, Modi government has looted more than Rs 8 lakh 33 thousand 640 by continuously increasing the price of LPG. Expensive gas, expensive oil, wholesale and retail inflation are at the highest peak since independence,” he added.
