Jamshedpur, Sep 8: The conductor of the ‘Super Star’ mini bus succumbed to his injuries at RIMS hospital after being injured on September 6. The incident occurred when the conductor was allegedly pushed by a rival conductor of the ‘Jai Mata Di’ mini bus during an altercation near the Bengal Club in Sakchi.

The conductor was identified as Sanjay Sen, a resident of Mango. The confrontation stemmed from an ongoing dispute over bus timings between the two buses operating on the Mango-Sakchi route. During the argument, Sanjay fell from the moving vehicle sustaining critical injuries. He was initially rushed to TMH for medical treatment but later was transferred to RIMS, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Sanjay Sen’s colleague, Jeetu informed that Sen had faced several personal hardships. “His wife left him over a year ago, leaving behind two young children. He was the sole breadwinner for his family,” Jeetu remarked. His colleagues are demanding justice for what they believe was a deliberate act of violence.
