Jamshedpur: Conditional permission for Durga Puja on Dimna Road

Jamshedpur, September 14. Due to the efforts of Neeraj Singh, state convenor of Bharatiya Janata Party business cell and chief patron of Gandhi Maidan Durga Puja Committee, permission was given by the district administration to five puja committees held in the middle of the road in Mango Dimna Road to perform Durga Puja.

On the occasion, Neeraj Singh expressed his gratitude to the district administration, sub-divisional officer and Jusco management and said that recently there was doubt regarding the Durga Puja event to be organized between Mango Dimna Road, which was cleared today.

Incidentally, Durga Puja Committee representatives met the TSUISL  management and the sub-divisional officer and submitted a memorandum informing them that Durga Puja has been organized at the said place for decades, but now TSUISL has decided to open the Durga Puja site somewhere as Gyms and parks have been constructed.

But today, conditional Durga Puja committees have been given permission from the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer to perform the puja. The organizers of Durga Puja had assured the district administration that the open gym or park built on Dimna Road will not be harmed in any way and after the immersion of the idol of Maa Durga, the keys of the place will be handed over to TSUISL and the district administration.
