Jamshedpur Communal Violence: BJP stages massive dharna demanding release of party leaders

Jamshedpur, May 8: BJP, Jamshedpur unit staged a protest rally in front of DC office, condemning the recent arrests of party leaders including Abhay Singh in connection with a communal violence incident at Kadma. The rally was attended by hundreds of BJP supporters, who demanded the immediate release of their leaders and criticized the state government for its handling of the situation.

The arrests were made following a violent clash between two communities at Kadma Shastrinagar. The BJP leaders, including Abhay Singh, were accused of inciting violence and disturbing communal harmony.

Speaking at the dharna, BJP leaders accused the state government of targeting their party, and demanded a fair investigation into the incident. They also alleged that the police had acted unfairly, and that innocent party workers were being falsely implicated in the case.

In response to the protest, the police defended its actions, stating that the arrests were made in accordance with the law and that no innocent person would be falsely implicated.

The situation remains tense, with the BJP and the state government at loggerheads over the issue. While the BJP has vowed to continue its protests until its demands are met.

The saffron party also launched a scathing attack on the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress state government, accusing them of misgovernance and failure to deliver on their promises.

State president Deepak Prakash criticized the government’s handling of various issues, including the law and order. He alleged that the JMM and Congress were more interested in pursuing their political agenda than in serving the people of Jharkhand.

The BJP leaders also highlighted what they called the “dismal performance” of the government in various sectors, including industry and healthcare. They pointed to the rising unemployment rate, declining industrial output, and poor implementation of welfare schemes as evidence of the government’s incompetence.

The BJP, which is the main opposition party in the state, has been vocal in its criticism of the government, with party leaders accusing the JMM and Congress of pursuing divisive policies and neglecting the interests of the people. They have vowed to continue their attack until the government addresses their concerns and delivers on its promises.

The situation remains tense, with the BJP and the state government locked in a bitter political battle. While the government has dismissed the allegations as baseless and politically motivated, the opposition remains determined to hold it accountable for what they see as a lack of progress and development in the state.

Senior leaders Jamshedpur MP Bidhyut Baran Mahto, Dineshanand Goswami addressed the party workers. Chandrashekhar Mishra, metropolitan in-charge Subodh Singh Guddu, Vinod Singh, Jatashankar Pandey, Devendra Singh, Vikas Singh, Nirbhay Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Rakesh Singh, Subodh Jha, Bharat Singh were present on the occasion.
