Jamshedpur, May 17: Communal Harmony Week 2022 started off at Karim City College on Tuesday. The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the college is organizing the event with the view to ensure communal harmony in society. The event was jointly inaugurated today by the college principal Dr Mohammad Reyaz and Dr Hasan Imam Mallik.
Dr Mallik said unity was the strength of all Indians and it should be maintained at every cost. He said unity would pave way for the development and progress of the country and society.
Other speakers also spoke on the importance of unity and social harmony.
A rally was taken out to mark the Communal Harmony Week. It started from the college and returned via Sakchi roundabout. A nukkad natak (street corner play) was also enacted by the college students.
