Jamshedpur: Class VIII Board exams of JAC begins, 1227 absent

Jamshedpur, May 10: The first term of Class VIII Board exams of Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) started off on Tuesday. Around 30,000 students from all over East Singhbhum are taking this exam. As many as 1227 students remained absent during the exam today. There are a total of 67 examination centres in the district. The exam is being held in two sittings. The students will get maximum 10 marks during internal assessment. The second term of the Board exams for class VIII will be held in the second week of June, sources said.
