Jamshedpur Citizens urge DC for immediate repair of Old Purulia Road

Jamshedpur, July 15: The condition of Old Purulia Road has deteriorated significantly due to continuous rainfall, resulting in large potholes filled with water and washed gravel, which have led to several pedestrian accidents. Concerned over the situation, social worker Mukhtar Alam Khan, along with community members including Vivekananda School Principal Nidhi Srivastava, Human Welfare Trust President Matinul Haq Ansari, Central Peace Committee member Raju Gorai, and Azadnagar Peace Committee member Mohammad Moinuddin Ansari, met Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi on Public Grievance Redressal Day. They submitted a signed petition demanding urgent road repair, citing inconvenience caused to students and residents commuting to Karim City College, Vivekananda International School, Yeshu Bhawan, and the Zakirnagar cemetery. The Deputy Commissioner assured the delegation of prompt action by the department concerned.
