Jamshedpur, Feb 4: A team of district administration conducted surprise inspection of various shops and stalls in the city and imposed fine on those found selling cigarettes and pan masala. Cigaraettes and pan masala were seized during the drive. The fine was imposed under COTPA 2003. The offenders were directed not to sell tobacco producs in future again. Dhalbhum SDO Piyush Sinha had ordered the inspection drive, sources said.
