Jamshedpur: Church School Beldih student suffers eye injury during brawl, FIR lodged

Jamshedpur, Feb 5: A class VII student of Church School, Beldih, was severely injured in a brawl at Bistupur on Tuesday. He suffered severe injury in his left eye. He was taken to Tata Main Hospital where he was referred to a Kolkata for better treatment.

The student, Reshant Ojha, was reportedly beaten up by another student during dispersal time. Ramesh Ojha, father of Reshant Ojha, was informed about the incident over phone.

He registered a complaint against the school management and the accused student at Bistupur police station. He alleged that the accused student had beaten up his son earlier. He said the school management did not take action against the accused student despite his complaint.

Ojha said his son was assaulted with a belt. The school officials refused to comment on the incident.
