Jamshedpur, June 29: A Jamshedpur Chamber of Commerce (JCC) delegation led by patron Mohanlal Agrawal and Harvinder Singh Mantu met JUSCO MD Tarun Daga and demanded power, water and sanitary facilities for Jugsalai, Bagbera and Mango areas which do not fall under Tata�s command area. A detailed discussion was held on the issues and the JCC delegation handed a letter of demand for the basic amenities as provided to citizens under JUSCO�s command area.
The JCC delegation impressed upon Tarun Daga that citizens were eagerly awaiting JUSCO�s nod for services for which they were willing to pay up. The JCC officials also pointed out that the shops in the market areas that had been constructed during independence needed repairs.
However, on the issue of extending basic amenities to citizens residing in localities outside JUSCO�s command areas, Tarun Daga informed that there was no prior permission from the government for provision of such facilities to such places. The JCA delegation urged the MD to discuss the issue with the government authorities for a favourable outcome.
Other members of the JCA delegation included secretary Akash Shah, Ajay Gupta and P Singh.
