Jamshedpur, Nov 5: A woman from Kadma has accused Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) Pradhan Gurmukh Singh Mukhe of raping and sodomizing her in her house. She has made a written complaint to Kadma police station in this regard and also handed over a video recording of the alleged offence, sources said.
Sources said a group of several Sikh community members accompanied the woman to the Kadma police station. Police took the complainant to MGM Hospital for medical examination. They said the alleged victim would be taken to the Civil Court on Monday for recording of her statement under Section 164 of Cr.P.C.
The complainant said her husband was in abroad for the last four months and she is currently residing at a rented accommodation with her two sons. She said she met Mukhe in his office three months ago and sought help. The latter assured to help her. Around six weeks ago, Mukhe allegedly visited the woman’s house and raped her at gunpoint. He reportedly raped the woman six to seven times and also sodomized her, said the complainant.
The woman said she had recorded the incident on 2nd November last in order to collect proof against the accused.
Mukhe could not be contacted for his version on the allegations. Ashok Ram, SHO of Kadma PS, said, “We are probing the allegations. The woman has accused Mukhe of rape and sodomy.”
