Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Arun Kumar Singh, a resident of Nilgiri Colony in Mango, has accused Mukesh Prasad, the Branch Manager of Central Bank of India’s Telco Branch, of demanding bribe. Singh filed a complaint with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the matter. Arun Kumar Singh, in his allegation mentioned that his wife, Anita Bala Singh had three loan accounts with the Telco branch of Central Bank of India that were declared Non Performing Assets (NPA) in March, 2022. Singh, in his allegation further mentioned that subsequent to the three accounts being categorized under NPA, he had made several visits to the bank’s Telco branch to settle and regularize the accounts during which, the Branch Manager, Mukesh Prasad had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 to resolve the issue. Arun Kumar Singh refused to pay the bribe and has demanded a thorough investigation in the matter.
