Jamshedpur: Local residents celebrated the safe return of Astronaut Sunita Williams. A special recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa was organized at Ashiana Garden, Sonari, by the Ashiana Garden Owners Association, seeking divine blessings for the safe return of Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams.
Association President Suresh Sonthalia highlighted Sunita Williams’ remarkable achievements in space exploration. He stated that she is the second woman of Indian origin to travel to space through NASA and has set a world record by staying in space for an impressive 286 days. “Sunita ji has not only contributed significantly to space research but has also brought immense pride to India on the global stage,” he added.
The event witnessed the participation of several residents and members of the association, who joined in the prayers with deep devotion. Among those present were Ramakant Gupta, Sunil Verma, Vivek Sharma, Dr. KK Singh, Deepak Agarwal, Raunak Sonthalia, Pyona Ghosh, Abha Singh, Sunita Gupta, Anuradha, Rani, Satnam Kaur, Mittu, Jyoti, and Rekha. The gathering fervently prayed for Williams’ safe return and expressed their admiration for her outstanding contributions to space science.
The heartfelt event showcased the deep emotional connection and admiration that Indians hold for Sunita Williams. Residents expressed hope and faith that their collective prayers ensured her safe return from her latest mission.
