Jamshedpur: The birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice, was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm. The city was abuzz with activities that paid homage to the iconic leader and his contributions towards equality and empowerment.
The celebrations commenced with a garlanded portrait of Dr. Ambedkar being placed at a prominent location in the city, accompanied by floral tributes and incense. A grand procession was organized, with people from all walks of life coming together to honor the legacy of Dr. Ambedkar. The procession was marked by enthusiastic chants of “Jai Bhim,” which is a popular slogan associated with Dr. Ambedkar and his teachings.

Various cultural programs were held throughout the day, showcasing the rich heritage of Dr. Ambedkar’s teachings. As part of the festivities, several social and community welfare programs were also organized.
