Jamshedpur: The second day of the Jamshedpur Carnival witnessed a soul-stirring performance by the renowned Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame singer, Ishaan Dutta. Hailing from Jamshedpur, Dutta’s heart-touching voice left the audience in awe, contributing to the carnival’s musical brilliance. The annual festival, known for fostering community spirit, is set to culminate on January 14 with a Master Chef competition during the day and a captivating performance by Bollywood sensation Abhijeet Bhattacharya in the evening.
In line with the “Know Your Army” initiative, the carnival featured a special weapons and equipment display by the Indian Army. The showcase aimed to familiarize civilians with the enhanced capabilities of the Indian Army, promoting civil-military fusion and integration.
The inaugural day, held at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, saw the presence of Chanakya Chaudhary, VP Corporate Services, Tata Steel, who expressed optimism that the three-day event would bring joy to the city’s residents. The first day showcased the performance of the renowned rock band Indian Ocean, captivating the audience with a mix of film and album songs.
The carnival promises a sensory feast, combining culinary artistry with musical prowess. The finale on January 14 will feature the Master Chef event followed by a captivating performance by Abhijeet Bhattacharya. Attendees are invited to experience the grand showcase of talent, culture, and celebration that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of Jamshedpur.
