56 City students become Chartered Accountants

Jamshedpur, Jan 9: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced theresults for Chartered Accountants (CA) final and intermediate November 2023 examinations on Tuesday, January 9.A total of 262 students appeared for the final exam from the Jamshedpur Branch of which 56 emerged successful. Jay Kant Beria the city topper grabbed the
10th spot in the AIl India Ranking.Several other students appeared for the first and second group (CA Final) out of whom a total of 47 students passed.

A total of 432 students appeared for the CA Inter examination from Jamshedpur branch of which 83 cleared the exam and would now appear for the final. Several students appeared for the first group and second group of which a total of 54 students passed.

Some of the students who cleared the exam were Mahek Goyal, Ishika Chand, Shimdhima Sah, Nikhil Kumar, Ayushi Agarwal, Shivam Choudhary , Megha Burada, among others. CA Ankita Agarwal, ICAI Jamshedpur Branch

This year, 65,294 candidates appeared for the group 1 exam and 62,679 for group 2 in CA final exam across the country.

However, 6,176 candidates cleared the group 1 exam (9.46%) while 13,540 cleared the group 2 exams (21.60%). A total of 9.42 percent candidates passed both
groups of the final CA exams. A total of 32,907 candidates had appeared for the exams, out of which 3,099 passed. A total of 8,650 candidates across the country have qualified as Chartered Accountants.

In the CA Intermediate result declared today, a total of 1,17,304 students appeared in Group A out of which 19,686 have been declared passed while 93,638 students appeared for group B exams out of which 17,957 cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage of both groups stands at 9.73 percent.

Madhur Jain has secured All India Rank 1 in the CA Final result declared today.

He secured 619 marks out of 800 in the final results
