Jamshedpur, December 18: A drunken brawl led to a younger sibling killing his own elder brother at Mudidih village in Madhavpur panchayat under Bodam police station area of East Singhbhum district on Saturday late night.
Bodam police reached the spot and took the dead body sent it for postmortem on Sunday. While the accused hiding in the forest was arrested after the incident. According to the information received regarding the incident, Phanibhushan Mudi and Dhananjay Mudi are real brothers. Younger brother Dhananjay works in the illegal distillery of the village itself. Both brothers also consume alcohol.
Last night both of them drank alcohol, after which an argument broke out between the two drunken brothers. In anger, Dhananjay killed him by hitting him on the head with a rod kept in the house. Madhavpur Panchayat Shatrughan Singh, who reached the spot on Sunday after getting information about the incident, consoled the family members of the deceased. He told that the deceased has two sons and one daughter.
