Jamshedpur, Feb 6: A body was seen in a drain near the Tata-Ranchi highway passing through the Azadnagar police station area of Mango.
After being informed by locals a police team led by the Azadnagar station in-charge Naresh Prasad Sinha reached the spot and the body was pulled out with the help of a crane. After this it was sent to MGM Hospital for post-mortem.
According to the police officials, the age of the person who died is around 30 to 35 years. Ahead of City Inn Hotel, information was received about the dead body lying in the drain on the side of Ranchi. After this the team of officers reached the spot. After about two hours of effort, the body was being pulled out from the drain. According to the police, the cause of death of the youth will be clear only after receiving the post-mortem report.
Seeing on the spot, it seems that the dead body was thrown to hide the evidence after killing the young man. Police are trying to identify the man who died.
