Jamshedpur: BJP leaders, workers, and local residents gathered across booths in the city on Sunday to listen to the 134th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program, Mann Ki Baat.
Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu and BJP Metropolitan President Sanjiv Sinha joined booth presidents at Shitala Bhavan in Bhalubasa to catch the broadcast. “The Prime Minister’s motivational messages infuse new energy and a sense of duty into every citizen,” Sahu stated.
During the broadcast, PM Modi addressed the ongoing severe heatwave, urging citizens to stay hydrated and follow government health advisories. He highlighted India’s agricultural heritage by praising its famous mango varieties and lauded Indian athletes for breaking 100-meter sprint records. The PM also highlighted inspiring grassroots initiatives, including a free swimming club run by Saji Valasseril in Kerala and conservation efforts to protect the Ganga Dolphin.
Following the program, Sinha led organizational discussions on executing upcoming party initiatives, such as the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ tree-plantation drive and International Yoga Day events. Senior BJP leaders, including former District President Chandrashekhar Mishra, Pawan Agrawal, and Sanjiv Singh, attended the sessions.
