Jamshedpur: The BJP Mahanagar president Gunjan Yadav and other party leaders paid homage to Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan on his death anniversary. They garlanded the statue of Lok Nayak near the Jaiprakash Setu and offered floral tributes. They recollected his memorable struggle against the emergency declared in 1975. Speaking on the occasion BJP Mahanagar president Gunjan Yadav said that Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan set a unique hallmark in his struggle from the independence movement to the defense of democracy. He said that Jaiprakash Narayan�s clarion call that set the movement against the state of emergency declared by the then government would be remembered as an example in fearless quest for justice and truth for the people. Others present on the occasion included BJP Sitaramdera unit president Suresh Sharma, Mango unit president Vinod Rai and other party leaders.
