Jamshedpur BJP celebrates Ambedkar Jayanti as Samarsata Diwas

Jamshedpur, April 14: BJP Jamshedpur unit celebrated the 131st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the author of the Indian Constitution, as Samarsata Diwas. 

On Thursday, Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated by the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha among the people of Kalindi, Bauri and Ruhi Das communities of Scheduled Castes in Bidra and Macha villages of Bidra Panchayat under Kamalpur Mandal. Duringthis ‘Samarsata Bhoj’ was organized by the party. In which BJP national vice president and former Chief Minister of the state Raghuvar Das, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, BJP city president Gunjan Yadavand other leaders collectively shared the land with the local residents and sat down to eat. In the banquet, a large number of people of all caste groups took food sitting on the ground together. Earlier, the leaders and workers present bowed down to Baba Saheb by garlanding him and offering flowers.

While addressing the program organized on this occasion, former chief minister Raghubar Das said that Babasaheb is considered as the father of Indian Constitution. In the Indian Constitution, along with giving equality to the people of the lower classes in the society, he ended the high and low from the root. 

“Babasaheb has a great contribution in the development of India. Due to the efforts made by Babasaheb for the upliftment of the downtrodden and deprived society, today this class has been able to connect with the mainstream of development while the anti-national forces are trying to divide and break the country and the state, BJP workers are working with full dedication to fulfill the goal of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,”said Das. 

The former chief minister accused the present Hemant government of flouting promises with the public. He said that Babua Chief Minister Hemant Soren of the government, who had shown the dream of getting Abu Raj, is doing the work of duping the people of Jharkhand at the behest of others. Talking about Khatian of 1932, he is still turning her back. The present government has stopped the earlier state government schemes for farmers and women.

Member of Parliament Bidyut Varan Mahato said that Babasaheb was the harbinger of social renaissance, the builder of an egalitarian society and the architect of a modern nation. At the heart of his mission of social equality were the weaker sections of the society, workers, women, whom he wanted to empower through education and struggle. Babasaheb devoted his entire life for economic and educational upliftment.
